What it does for you
Why choose ceramic tint?
The coolest cabin
Ceramic IR blocks 87% of infrared heat, the part of sunlight you feel as heat on your skin.
Heat control at any shade
Even a light shade keeps a lot of heat out, so you can stay legal and still feel the difference.
Your phone still works
There is no metal in the film, so GPS, phone and radio signals pass straight through.
Blocks UV
99.99% of UV is blocked, which protects your skin and the cabin.

How it works
What is ceramic window tint?
Ceramic tint has tiny ceramic particles built into the film. They stop infrared heat without making the film shiny or dark, so the heat control does not depend on the shade.
That makes ceramic the film to choose when heat matters most: long summer drives, a black car, a big glass roof, or kids in the back.
We fit Union Ceramic IR on cars, SUVs, trucks and Teslas, cut to your glass and heat-shaped to fit.
- Union Ceramic IR on the windows you choose
- Any of Union’s six shades
- A top strip on the windshield, if you want one
- Lifetime film warranty

Looking after the film
- Keep the windows rolled up for a few days while the film settles. In cold weather it can take a little longer.
- A light haze or a few small water spots while the film dries is normal. They clear on their own.
- Leave the inside of the glass for a week before cleaning it, then use a soft cloth and a cleaner with no ammonia.
Questions
Ceramic window tinting questions
Is ceramic tint worth it?
If heat bothers you, yes. Ceramic IR blocks 87% of infrared heat compared with 75% for Carbon IR, and the difference is easy to feel on a sunny day.
Does ceramic tint interfere with my phone or GPS?

Is ceramic tint darker?
No. Ceramic comes in the same six shades as our other film. The ceramic is about heat, not darkness.

How long does ceramic tint take to dry?
Keep the windows up for a few days. In cold weather drying can take a little longer.
Does ceramic tint come with a warranty?
Yes. Union’s lifetime film warranty covers cracking, bubbling, delamination and fading for the life of the film.
