Window tinting in Bridgeview
Window tinting for Bridgeview drivers and homes
79th Street and Harlem Avenue both run through Bridgeview, and 79th carries you east to Cicero Avenue, close to Miguel's shop, about 3.4 miles away.
If you drive a pickup or a work van, the cab gets a long day of sun and the back glass sits right behind your head. Tint helps with both: less heat inside and less glare. Miguel books one vehicle at a time, so a full-size truck gets the same care as a coupe, and every pattern is cut by computer for that model before it touches the glass.
Car window tinting
Car window tinting for Bridgeview
Miguel's past work includes a Chevy Silverado, a Toyota Tacoma and a GMC Hummer EV. Behind the driver, Illinois lets a pickup's glass go any shade. Union Carbon gives that back glass a deep, even look that holds its color and rejects 75% of infrared heat. Union Ceramic turns away up to 87% and stays crystal clear. Both block 99.99% of UV, and neither has metal in it.

Home and business window film
Home and business window film in Bridgeview
If your business faces a busy road like Harlem Avenue, the front glass takes a lot of sun and glare. Miguel comes to the building to measure and fit the film. Silver reflects heat and gives daytime privacy, Ceramic cuts heat and UV without a mirror look, and Black Out gives total privacy where nobody should see in. His past work includes the windows and glass door of a commercial building, and Bridgeview homes get the same visit.

Questions
Window tinting questions from Bridgeview
Do you tint cars and trucks for people in Bridgeview?
Yes. Bridgeview is about 3.4 miles from Miguel's shop at 8040 S Knox Ave. Head east on 79th Street toward Cicero Avenue; the shop is near that corner. Tinting is by appointment only, so call (773) 307-6801 first.
Can you tint the windows of my Bridgeview business?
Yes. Miguel comes to the business to measure and fit the film. Silver and Ceramic cut heat and glare, and White Out and Black Out give privacy where you need it. Homes are done the same way.
How dark can I tint the back of my pickup in Illinois?
Behind the driver, a pickup, SUV or van can go any shade. If those windows are darker than 35%, the front side windows must let in at least 50% of light. The windshield can only have a non-reflective strip, no more than 6 inches down from the top.
How dark can I tint my car windows in Illinois?
It depends on the vehicle. On a car, the front side windows beside the driver can be 35%, letting in at least 35% of light, as long as no window behind the driver is darker than 35%, so keep the back windows at 35% or lighter. On an SUV, van or pickup, the windows behind the driver can be any shade, but if they're darker than 35%, like the factory privacy glass on most SUVs, trucks and vans, the front side windows must let in at least 50% of light. The windshield can only have a non-reflective strip along the top, no more than 6 inches down. A medical exemption exists with a physician's certified statement and the state's plate or sticker. Laws change, so check the current law; the Illinois Window Tint Law page has the details.
