Window tinting in Cicero
Window tinting for Cicero drivers and homes
The avenue that shares your town's name leads straight to Miguel. Cicero Avenue runs south from Cicero, past Midway Airport, to 79th Street, and his shop is near that corner, about 6.9 miles from Cicero.
Being on one road makes the trip easy to plan. Every visit is by appointment, and Miguel keeps it personal: one car at a time, the films and shades shown on samples and a heat box, and the whole job done by the owner. If you run a shop of your own along Cicero Avenue, he can fit film there too.

For Cicero drivers who want a clear view out, Union Ceramic is crystal clear and still rejects up to 87% of infrared heat, the most Union makes. Union Carbon gives a deeper, even look and rejects 75%. Both block 99.99% of UV, contain no metal and carry a limited lifetime warranty. Miguel's past work includes a Hyundai Elantra N, a Mercedes GLE and a Cadillac, each with film cut by computer for that model.

Home and business window film
Home and business window film in Cicero
Storefronts along Cicero Avenue put a lot of glass toward the street. Miguel fits the film at the store itself, after measuring each pane. Ceramic cuts heat and UV with low reflection, so a window display stays easy to see, Silver reflects heat and adds daytime privacy, and White Out suits a back office or a door that shouldn't be seen through. Cicero homes get the same on-site visit.

Questions
Window tinting questions from Cicero
Do you tint cars for people in Cicero?
Yes. Cicero is about 6.9 miles from Miguel's shop at 8040 S Knox Ave, and Cicero Avenue runs almost the whole way. Cars are tinted there by appointment only; call (773) 307-6801 to book.
Can you put window film on my shop or home in Cicero?
Yes. Miguel comes to the property to measure and fit it. Union's range includes Neutral, Silver, Ceramic, White Out and Black Out, so heat, glare and privacy are all covered, and his past work includes the windows and glass door of a commercial building.
Can I get darker tint for a medical reason?
Illinois has a medical exemption. It needs a physician's certified statement and the state's plate or sticker. Talk to Miguel before you book, and check the current law, as the rules can change.
How dark can I tint my car windows in Illinois?
It depends on the vehicle. On a car, the front side windows beside the driver can be 35%, letting in at least 35% of light, as long as no window behind the driver is darker than 35%, so keep the back windows at 35% or lighter. On an SUV, van or pickup, the windows behind the driver can be any shade, but if they're darker than 35%, like the factory privacy glass on most SUVs, trucks and vans, the front side windows must let in at least 50% of light. The windshield can only have a non-reflective strip along the top, no more than 6 inches down. A medical exemption exists with a physician's certified statement and the state's plate or sticker. Laws change, so check the current law; the Illinois Window Tint Law page has the details.
