Union Carbon holds its color over the years and carries a limited lifetime warranty, as does Union Ceramic. Carbon turns away 75% of infrared heat and 61% of total solar energy. Ceramic gives the most heat rejection Union makes, up to 87% of infrared and 65% of total solar energy, and it's crystal clear to look through. Either film blocks 99.99% of the UV that fades and dries out a dashboard over time.
Home and business window film
Home and business window film in Evergreen Park
If your Evergreen Park home has patio doors or a sunroom, that glass lets in a lot of heat and glare. Miguel brings the film to the house, measures the glass and fits it there. Union's Ceramic film cuts heat and UV with low reflection, so the doors don't turn into mirrors, and Neutral keeps a natural look while taking the edge off the sun. Businesses in Evergreen Park are fitted on site the same way.

Questions
Window tinting questions from Evergreen Park
Do you tint cars for people in Evergreen Park?
Yes. Evergreen Park is about 2.6 miles from 8040 S Knox Ave, where Miguel tints cars by appointment only. Call (773) 307-6801 to set a time that suits you.
Can you fit window film at my home or business in Evergreen Park?
Yes. Miguel comes to the property to measure and fit it. He'll suggest the right Union film, whether that's Neutral or Ceramic for heat, Silver for daytime privacy, or White Out and Black Out for full privacy.
Does the car tint come with a warranty?
Yes. Union Carbon and Union Ceramic both come with Union's limited lifetime warranty. Ask Miguel when you book and he'll go over what it covers.
How dark can I tint my car windows in Illinois?
It depends on the vehicle. On a car, the front side windows beside the driver can be 35%, letting in at least 35% of light, as long as no window behind the driver is darker than 35%, so keep the back windows at 35% or lighter. On an SUV, van or pickup, the windows behind the driver can be any shade, but if they're darker than 35%, like the factory privacy glass on most SUVs, trucks and vans, the front side windows must let in at least 50% of light. The windshield can only have a non-reflective strip along the top, no more than 6 inches down. A medical exemption exists with a physician's certified statement and the state's plate or sticker. Laws change, so check the current law; the Illinois Window Tint Law page has the details.
